Aim and Scope
AI Labs Publishing is a Türkiye-based academic publishing house dedicated to disseminating high-quality scientific research through electronic books (e-books). Our fundamental mission is to provide academics, researchers, and academic institutions with a global platform to share their original findings, theoretical frameworks, and innovative methodologies across various disciplines.
Our core vision is to sustain academic excellence by publishing peer-reviewed works that fully meet rigorous international standards, including research articles, review studies, analytical examinations, case reports, case analyses, and book reviews. In this process, we utilize the full range of digital innovations offered by e-book technologies to maximize discoverability, indexability, and long-term digital preservation of scientific content. Our primary objective is to foster interdisciplinary academic dialogue and to provide lasting and high-quality contributions to the global research community.
Publishing Fields
AI Labs Publishing focuses on qualified studies positioned at the intersection of Design, Art, Communication and Cultural Studies, and Economics, reflecting contemporary transformations in academia. Our publishing house prioritizes original research examining the societal, economic, and ethical impacts of New Media and Artificial Intelligence technologies, alongside visual communication design, art theories, and cultural studies.
In this context, we aim to contribute interdisciplinary analyses centered on digital culture and artificial intelligence to the global academic literature, particularly those exploring the interaction between traditional economic approaches and next-generation technological ecosystems. Submissions ranging from institutional analyses to experimental artistic studies, which combine contemporary debates with academic depth, constitute the core scope of our publishing program.
Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
AI Labs Publishing adopts a scientific publishing approach grounded in transparency. In this regard, the principles of publication ethics established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) form the foundation of our publication policy. In cases of misconduct or ethical violations, AI Labs Publishing follows the ethical flowcharts developed by COPE.
Manuscripts submitted for inclusion in books or book chapters must not have been previously published in any journal, book, or platform, nor be under review elsewhere. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Plagiarism, misrepresentation of authorship or research data, copyright infringement, concealment of conflicts of interest, and similar violations are considered breaches of ethical standards.
Research Ethics
AI Labs Publishing adheres to the highest international standards in research ethics and declares its commitment to the following principles. The ethical compliance of submitted works is primarily the responsibility of the authors. From research design to implementation and reporting, scientific integrity, methodological rigor, quality, and transparency must be ensured. Data generation, analysis, and interpretation must be conducted objectively and honestly. Research teams and participants must be clearly informed about the purpose, scope, methodology, and intended use of the study. Participation must be voluntary, and participants must be fully informed about potential risks. Confidentiality and anonymity of all collected data must be protected in accordance with relevant legislation. Research must respect participants’ autonomy, dignity, and fundamental rights, minimizing potential physical, psychological, social, or legal harm. Research independence must be safeguarded, and any conflicts of interest must be transparently disclosed. In experimental or applied studies, written informed consent is mandatory. In cases involving minors or legally dependent individuals, necessary permissions must be obtained from legal guardians. Institutional and administrative approvals must be secured and documented when research is conducted within an institutional framework. AI Labs Publishing considers ethical responsibility in scientific production a fundamental principle and expects all published works to adhere to these standards.
Open Access
AI Labs Publishing adopts an open-access policy based on the free circulation of scientific knowledge for the public good. All published works are made available without subscription or access fees. Readers may access, read, download, and use the full texts for personal purposes free of charge. This approach aligns with the principles defined by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
Commercial use of published content is subject to copyright and ethical regulations and unauthorized commercial use is not permitted. AI Labs Publishing does not limit its publication schedule to fixed periods; works are published upon completion of editorial processes and quality evaluation. Open-access principles serve as the fundamental framework for all publication processes.
Plagiarism Control
All submissions undergo plagiarism screening using iThenticate and Turnitin software. Similarity reports are evaluated both quantitatively and qualitatively by the editorial board. Where necessary, authors may be asked for clarification or revision.
The maximum acceptable overall similarity rate is set at 15%. However, evaluation considers not only the percentage but also the source, context, and appropriateness of citations. Works exceeding acceptable limits or involving ethical violations may be rejected at any stage of the review process, even after acceptance. AI Labs Publishing conducts all publication processes in accordance with academic integrity, transparency, and scientific rigor.
Peer Review Policy
AI Labs Publishing conducts a rigorous evaluation process to ensure the scientific accuracy and quality of all published academic works. The publishing house adopts a Double-Blind Peer Review system to maintain the highest level of academic impartiality.
Independence and Expertise
Reviewers are selected from internationally recognized scholars with proven expertise in the relevant field and are independent of the publishing house. The editorial board appoints qualified external reviewers appropriate to the subject matter.
Ethical Rules and Conflict of Interest
Reviewers must declare the absence of personal, financial, or academic conflicts of interest. Any situation that may compromise impartiality constitutes grounds for reviewer replacement or termination of the process.
Record Keeping and Transparency
All peer-review reports, editorial correspondence, and revision processes are securely archived in digital format. Records are preserved confidentially and may be presented in case of ethical review.
*All book manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent experts under the Double-Blind Peer Review system, and final publication decisions are made by the editorial board.
